di-electiec grease in not for direct terminal contact. its an electric insulator to prevent arching etc... you put on on the rubber around the connector. Its especially used for spark plugs. Applying it around the spark plug boot (not something we need to do) keeps the charge from jumping around. It does not conduct electricity and is suppose to do the opposite. People can say what they want but look up the proper usage for the product. I once put it directly on my injectors contacts (hoping to prevent corrosion) and it was preventing a proper signal causing them not to fire/spray.
